Chuck Grimes - Programmer
Background:
Chuck Grimes was born in Tampa, Florida and grew up in Columbus, Georgia. After High School, he joined the United States military and spent the next 10 years serving his country in two different branches of the service. A life-long love of aviation led him to pursue his dream of becoming a professional aviator, until he was swept away by the Internet wave in 1996. Since then, Chuck has devoted himself to mastering advanced programming techniques and Windows server administration.
Family:
Chuck married his wife Tabatha in 1999, and they have two children, ages 5 and 3. The family resides in Deland, Florida.
Hobbies & Interests:
Chuck enjoys all things related to aviation, history (with an emphasis on military history), and his Ovation 12-string guitar.
Professional Background:
Chuck has been working full-time in the Internet business since 1996, in a variety of positions ranging from junior programmer at small web design firms to Director of Operations at a large hosting company. As webmaster for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Chuck managed one of the busiest websites in the world.
