Marla Ottenstein - Copywriter
Marla’s talents as a copywriter are unsurpassed. Before putting pen to paper, she “gets inside the company” to completely understand the individual needs and nuances of her clients. She is adept at writing concise, easy to read copy that is accurate, well thought out and memorable.
She brings to the table a special flare, which, when combined with her astute attention to detail and her ability to use words efficiently, results in leading-edge, sophisticated copy that is direct and to the point. She is professional, well organized and efficient and delivers what she promises – on time!
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Marla was exposed to art and literature at an early age. It was this exposure, as well as her naturally inquisitive nature, imagination and resourcefulness that has brought her to Total Concept.
A graduate of the University of Denver with a double major in Fine Arts and Journalism, Marla has worked as an assistant producer for the Today Show, owned two successful gift stores and taught skiing in the Colorado Rockies.
Since moving to Naples eight years ago, she has worked as a national sales manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Naples where her sole responsibility was creating and selling the Millennium Experience for the Year 2000 festivities.
She has also worked for several luxury homebuilders, commercial contractors and designers. An entrepreneur at heart, she has taken her talents and started her own firm, specializing in public relations, sales and marketing and collateral development with a concentration on the building and design industries.
She is an accomplished writer with many of her stories appearing in several Florida local, regional and state luxury homebuilding & design magazines.
Hobbies & Interests:
When not sitting at her computer writing, or on the courts playing a mean game of tennis, Marla can be found globetrotting to such exotic places as Africa, Asia, London, Paris, New York or Colorado. She just can’t sit still and is on the life-long quest to see and do everything.
“If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up valuable breathing space.”
